Rhine, Ruhr, inland port: "Duisburg is a water town." Therefore, it is not surprising that Junior Art Director Annika Lewin spends part of her free time either in the water, or under it, like in this photo at the Zoo. But even for those who are a bit more water shy, Duisburg offers lots to see and experience.

The port is a bood example of how one can transform local conditions into an economic success factor (in this case geographical). A concept which Creative Director Tom Hoffmann transfers to many other spheres.

Creative environment

Our agency is only the proverbial "stones throw" from the Lehmbruck Museum. Senior Project Manager Frank Horn, who is inspired by the numerous festivals and internationally reknown stage events in Duisburg, is thankful to be working at such a good address.

Smarter is better

Elisabeth Freese completed her vocational training as media designer at cantaloop. She may continue on the educational path a bit further by pursuing a degree at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Thanks to the Frauenhofer Institute, teaching and research is a top priority in Duisburg.

10/2009 Silver Spotlight Award

cantaloop is awarded the internationally renown silver Spotlight Award for the concept and design of the Duisburger Versorgungs- und Verkehrsgesellschaft (DVV) Annual Report, receiving 97 out of 100 possible points. The yearly competition is sponsored by the American Communications Professionals (LACP).

Ranked in the top 100 alongside international competitors, cantaloop scored an impressive 40th place. A glance at the ranking list gives you an idea of the creative milieu within which cantaloop was judged by the international jury.
