The joint development and promotion of new technologies and user solutions for rooms and buildings forms the core of the inHaus idea. In the Fraunhofer inHaus Cente, the Fraunhofer-Society bundles the potential from the Fraunhofer Institutes and economic partners. The goals are new market opportunities for economic partners, added value for investors and potential users, and wide ranging benefits such as energy efficiency, more safety and environmental protection. A further connection to the market is provided through praxis-oriented user laboratories for residences, offices, services, hotels, events, hospitals and nursing homes in the innovation workshop for residential and commercial properties.
