Passengers have a right to feel safe and unmolested in buses and trams. As part of the campaign “zero tolerance”, the Duisburg Public Transport Company (DVG AG) will thus employ additional security personnel on their lines. Bullying, vandalism and crime will be reliably prevented and, where required, be reported and prosecuted.

(“Don’t rock the boat!”), the creative team clearly address their target group. Grunge look posters present a hand scratched “zero tolerance” logo. cantaloop have made use of both visual stylistic devices and the language of the target group. Their slogan “Stay cool. Show respect” is targeted directly at the young as a de-escalating appeal. This clear language has also hit the nerve of the population, as can be seen in numerous positive online comments. In addition, the campaign has given rise to a heated political debate in the state capital Dusseldorf, where all parliamentary groups now plead for the employment of service and security staff in tram and subway lines.
